Lyocell is considered a sustainable fabric, manufactured by Lenzing from sustainably sourced wood pulp in a closed-loop, non-toxic process that recovers over 99% of solvent and water. It is biodegradable, requires less energy/water than cotton, and is generally more eco-friendly than conventional rayon or cotton.
